- How is rent charged?
When you book your storage unit, you will pay the prorated amount for the first month’s rent and insurance. This amount is based upon the monthly rate divided by thirty days to come up with a daily rate, which is then multiplied by the number of days remaining in the month. Moving forward, your rent will be automatically charged on the first day of the month.
We do not prorate the last month’s rent. You must give us fourteen (14) days written notice to terminate your tenancy. To avoid being charged for another calendar month, you must give us notice by the 15th of the month.
- Do you charge an Administrative Fee?
We charge a non-refundable $35 administrative fee. This fee includes a combination lock for your storage unit, which you get to keep.
- Why should I use the SpaceMaker container lock?
While you don’t have to use our lock, there are some big advantages. It is a combination lock, so you don’t have to worry about keeping track of a tiny key.
If you forget the combination to your lock, you can contact our office, and we will text it to you. This way, you avoid any inconvenience and, in the worst case, a cut lock fee of $150. Lastly, these are very secure disc locks because the shackle is hidden.
